El 13 de enero llegaba otra de las galas de premios de K-POP que premia la industria de 2020 y que aparecía con novedades respecto a otros años por la situación del COVID-19. Los 10th GAON Chart Music Awards se celebraban sin actuaciones y con todas las medidas de prevención necesarias.
Ya conocemos a los ganadores de los GAON Charts Music Awards 2020, que premian los temas digitales de forma mensual, los discos por cuartos del año y otras categorías generales de la música.

Leeteuk de Super Junior y Lia de ITZY han sido los presentadores por segundo año consecutivo, pero este año la gala ha sido completamente diferente a otros, ya que no ha habido actuaciones y se han entregado los premios siguiendo todas las medidas necesarias.
Sin embargo, nada ha impedido que se celebren los premios y se premie a la música que nos ha acompañado durante 2020.
