Yeeun, quien formó parte del increíble grupo CLC, comienza una nueva etapa profesional y en solitario bajo su nueva compañía Superbell Company. La artista se ha presentado con su color y sonido propio a través de sus propios lanzamientos y actividades.
El lanzamiento de The Beginning, que se convirtió en su primer single álbum, le ha traído grandes sorpresas y éxitos junto a su tema principal Cherry Coke. Y es que tras este gran trabajo la artista pudo unirse al elenco del programa de Queendom Puzzle de Mnet.

En primer lugar, es un gran honor para BA NA NA poder entrevistarte, Yeeun. Para nosotros y todos tus fans, actualmente te encuentras en un muy buen momento de tu carrera en solitario. Pero cuéntanos, ¿en qué momento musicalmente hablando te encuentras actualmente y en qué dirección vas?
Quiero desafiarme constantemente y mostrarme ante todos de diferentes formas. Creo que ahora nos encontramos en el punto de partida. Espero que sigáis mirándome en el futuro y con un ojo encima.
First of all, it is a great honor for BA NA NA to be able to interview you, Yeeun. For us and all your fans, you are currently in a very good moment in your solo career. But let us know, at what point, musically speaking, are you currently and in what direction are you going?I want to constantly challenge myself and show myself in various ways. I think we are at the starting point now. I hope you look forward to the future and keep an eye on it.
Tu debut fue en 2015, pero tu debut como solista fue en 2023. ¿Cómo sientes tu evolución durante este último año?
Creo que ha sido mi año de mayor crecimiento. Mirando hacia atrás, en el pasado, sentí lo hermoso que eran esos tiempos y me mantuve confiada en la dirección que seguía. En ese momento, estaba confundida porque tenía muchas preocupaciones, pero mirando hacia atrás, fue un momento en el que pude hacerme mentalmente más saludable.
Your debut was in 2015, but your debut as soloist was in 2023. How do you feel about your evolution during this last year?I think this is the year with the most growth. Looking back on the past, I felt the preciousness of those times, and I became confident about the direction to move forward. At the time, I was confused because I had a lot of worries, but looking back, it was a time when I was able to make myself mentally healthier.
Nos capturas con tu color, música y actitud únicos en el escenario. ¿Qué inspiraciones tienes cuando tienes que crear nueva música o pensar en tus próximos pasos musicales? ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de trabajar en estos aspectos musicales y escénicos?
Poder contar mi historia parece ser el mayor atractivo de estar sobre escenario. Por eso me inspiro en mis preocupaciones internas, pensamientos y palabras que quiero decir.
You capture us with your unique color, music and attitude on the stage all the time. What inspirations do you have when you have to create new music or think about your next musical steps? What do you like the most about working on these musical and performance aspects?Being able to tell my story seems to be the greatest attraction of the stage. That's why I get inspiration from my inner worries, thoughts, and words I want to say.
Acabas de lanzar 'Cherry Coke' con un sonido y una interpretación refrescantes. ¿Cómo fue el proceso de preparación y qué destacarías de esta gran canción?
Era mi primer álbum para anunciar mi debut en solitario, así que me preocupé mucho. Hablé mucho con la compañía y las miembros de CLC y obtuve consejos, y traté de expresarme en el escenario con la mayor libertad posible. En 'Cherry Coke' quería mostrar una variedad de encantos y quería expresar armoniosamente mi antiguo yo y mi yo más maduro.
You just released 'Cherry Coke' with a refreshing sound and performance. How was the preparation process and what would you highlight about this great song?It was my first album to announce my solo debut, so I worried a lot. I talked a lot with the company and CLC members and got advice, and I tried to express myself on stage as freely as possible. In 'Cherry Coke' I wanted to show a variety of charms, and I wanted to harmoniously express the old me and my more matured self.
Ahora mismo estás participando en 'Queendom Puzzle' con otros grandes artistas. ¿Cómo surgió la oportunidad y qué esperas lograr con tu gran participación en el programa? ¿Crees que serás capaz de mostrarnos nuevos lados brillantes de ti misma?
El mayor objetivo que queremos lograr a través de Queendom Puzzle es mostrarles todo lo posible a los fans que han estado esperando escenarios tan maravillosos y diversos. Se podrán ver escenarios coloridos para formar y decorar equipos con diferentes artistas y nuevas combinaciones.
Right now you are participating in Queendom Puzzle with other great artists. How did the opportunity arise and what do you hope to achieve with your great participation in the program? Do you think you will be able to show us bright new sides of yourself?The biggest goal we want to achieve through the Queendom Puzzle is to show the fans who have been waiting for such wonderful and diverse stages. You will be able to see a variety of stages that form and decorate teams with new combinations of other artists.
Esta pregunta siempre la hacemos a nuestros entrevistados ya que nos encanta saber curiosidades. ¿Tienes algún talento oculto? (Cocina, deportes, tocar instrumentos…)
Me gusta cocinar. El hecho de que puedas vaciar tus pensamientos al preparar la comida es atractivo. Por lo tanto, a menudo cocino yo misma y preparo mi comida.
Lo que estoy estudiando constantemente es japonés. También obtuve la licencia JLPT de tercer grado, es un idioma que quiero seguir aprendiendo en el futuro porque así puedo comunicarme directamente con los fans japoneses.
We always ask this question to our interviewees since we love to know curiosities. Do you have any hidden talent? (Cooking, sports, playing instruments…)I like to cook. It is attractive that you can empty your mind when making food. As a result, there are many times when you cook yourself and take care of your meals. I am studying Japanese steadily. I also obtained a JLPT certificate up to level 3. It's a language I want to keep learning in the future because that way I can communicate directly with Japanese fans.
¿Qué podemos esperar de Yeeun en 2023? ¿Tienes en mente futuros proyectos musicales?
Ahora estoy presentando varias actuaciones a través de 'Queendom Puzzle' en Mnet. Además de trabajar como solista, hay fans a los que les gustan y apoyan las actuaciones y los equipos con otros artistas, actualmente estoy muy centrada en 'Queendom Puzzle'. Quiero descubrir un nuevo lado de Yeeun a través de este programa.
What can we expect from Yeeun in 2023? Do you have future musical projects in mind?Now I am showing various stages through competitions in the 'Queendom Puzzle' broadcast on Mnet. In addition to working as a solo artist, there are fans who like and support performances and relationships with other artists, so I am currently focusing on the "Queendom Puzzle." I want to discover a new look of Yeeun through this program.
¿Hay algún sueño profesional que aún te queda por cumplir?
Quiero conocer a los fans directamente a través de giras en el extranjero. Además, si hay una oportunidad en un futuro lejano, quiero actuar con las miembros de CLC.
Is there a professional dream that you still have to fulfill?I want to meet the fans directly through overseas tours. Also, If I have a chance in the future, I want to perform with CLC members.
¿Puedes enviar un saludo a tus fans de España y Latinoamérica?
Sé que siempre me anima desde lejos. Siempre estoy agradecida. Realmente quiero conocerlos en persona, mostrarles mis actuaciones y pasar tiempo juntos. Espero que llegue el día en que nos encontremos.
Can you send a greeting to your fans in Spain and Latin America?I know you're always cheering for me from afar. I'm always grateful. I really want to meet you in person, show you my stage, and spend time together. I hope the day we meet will come.
