En 2019 APOKI apareció en nuestras vidas con la apertura de sus redes sociales. Una revolución digital que presentaba covers de K-Pop a través de YouTube y que recibió mucho cariño y atención gracias a su talento y conexión con el público.
Debido a esa buena acogida, APOKI, bajo VV Entertainment, realizó su debut como artista de K-Pop. Convirtiéndose en un idol digital con GET IT OUT, una canción muy adictiva que ha triunfado a nivel mundial. Se presentó con una faceta dura, y más rompedora. Mientras, que en verano del 2021 sorprendió con una imagen más dulce y veraniega en Coming Back.
La idol es muy activa en redes sociales, donde comparte nuevos vídeos e imágenes casi a diario. Además de realizar directos para unirse más con sus fans. Y ahora, BA NA NA ha hablado con APOKI para poder conocerla mejor.

Tu debut fue en 2021, ¿cómo ha crecido APOKI profesionalmente desde entonces? ¿Qué ha sido lo mejor y lo peor durante este tiempo y qué momentos destacarías?
Creo que había crecido mucho tanto interna como externamente después de lanzar mi primer single <GET IT OUT>, y mi segundo single <Coming back> me hizo dar un paso adelante en la expresión. Debutar con el tema <Get it out> fue lo mejor y realmente no tengo nada malo hasta ahora.
Lo más destacado podría ser el día en que mi MV de <Coming Back> alcanzó los 100 millones de visitas. Estaba haciendo un programa en directo en Youtube en ese momento, cuando uno de mis fans de repente me informó sobre esto a través del chat. Todo el mundo me felicitó mucho en ese momento y estaba taaaaaaaan feliz porque podía sentir que mi música es amada por Earthians!
Your debut was in 2021, how has APOKI grown professionally since then? What has been the best and worst during this time and what moments would you highlight?I think I had grown both, internally and externally a lot, after releasing my first single <GET IT OUT>, and my second single <Coming back> made me go one step forward in expressing myself. Making my debut with <Get it out> was the best and I really don’t have any worst experience so far.My highlight could be the day when my <Coming back> MV reached 100M views. I was doing a Youtube Live show at that moment, when one of my fans suddenly informed me about this on the chat. Everybody congratulated me a lot then and I was soooooooo happy because I could feel that my music is loved by Earthians!
Tu carrera comienza en redes sociales, como YouTube, y muy pronto te conviertes en un ídolo virtual gracias al apoyo de todos los fans coreanos e internacionales. ¿Cuándo empezaste a interesarte por la música y cuándo decidiste iniciar tu proyecto como APOKI en redes sociales como YouTube?
Me habían dicho mucho "tienes talentos en la música" durante mucho tiempo. A medida que fui creciendo, me di cuenta de que REALMENTE AMO LA MÚSICA y tengo por así decirlo ese talento en la música. Luego, comencé a cantar una canción frente a otros en mi planeta.
En mi ciudad natal, Aon, la Tierra es el planeta más popular del universo. Como amo la música K-POP de la Tierra, estoy seguro de que a los Earthians les encantaría mi propia música. Entonces decidí abrir mis redes sociales, como herramienta para la auto-promoción.
Your career starts on social networks like YouTube and you become a virtual idol very soon thankfully to all the Korean and International fans support. When did you start being interested in music and when did you decide to start your project as APOKI on social networks like YouTube?I’ve been told a lot “You have talents in music” for a long time. As I got older, I realized that I REALLY LOVE MUSIC and I’m somewhat talented in music. Then, I started to sing a song in front of others on my planet.In my hometown Aon city, Earth is the most popular planet in the universe. Like I love K-POP music from Earth, I’m confident that Earthians would love my own music. So I started my SNS first, as a self promotion.
Eres una increíble artista de cover dance ... pero de repente APOKI decidiste debutar con tus propias canciones. ¿Cómo tomaste esta decisión? ¿Qué pasó para que decidieras debutar como artista?
Siempre he soñado con tener mi propia canción con mi propio MV. Había esperado mi debut con mi propia música durante mucho tiempo mientras subía mis versiones y bailes a mi canal de Youtube. Pero de repente recibí un Código Morse el 31 de diciembre de 2020, que decía que vendría a la Luna. Y luego, fue cuando lancé mi primer sencillo <Get it out> con mis propias historias, justo después de regresar de este viaje a la Luna.
You are an incredible cover dance artist ... but suddenly, APOKI, you decided to debut with your own songs. How did you make this decision? What happened that you decided to make your debut as an artist?I’ve always dreamed about my own song w/ my own MV. I had awaited my debut with my own music for a long time while uploading my cover songs and cover dances on my Youtube channel. But Suddenly I got a Morse Code on 31st Dec 2020, which it said to come to the Moon. And then, I just released my first single <Get it out> with my own stories in it, just after getting back from this Moon trip.
Tu debut fue con "GET IT OUT" y luego hiciste tu primer regreso con "Coming Back". ¿Puedes describir con tus propias palabras estas canciones y decirnos qué hace que estas dos canciones sean únicas?
Quiero definir estas dos canciones con la frase "A Whole New World" (un mundo nuevo). Creo que abrí un nuevo horizonte, donde un Artista Virtual como yo puede cantar y bailar.
Your debut was with ‘GET IT OUT’ and then you did your first comeback with ‘Coming Back’. Can you describe with your own words these songs and tell us what makes these two songs unique?I want to define these two songs with “A Whole New World”. I believe I opened a New Horizon, where a Virtual Artist, like me, can sing and dance.
APOKI siempre estás con sus bailarines de respaldo. ¿Tenéis alguna anécdota juntos? ¿Cómo es trabajar con más personas?
Sus nombres son OVA y DOZU. Realmente aman la música como yo. Recientemente, mientras tomaba tomas para mi nuevo MV, hubo escenas de acrobacias algo difíciles mientras estaba conduciendo mi auto en el set. Fue bastante divertido mientras se rodaban estas escenas, pero OVA y DOZU tuvieron dificultades para superar el mareo.
Espera, esto puede ser divertido solo para mí. ¡Lo siento mucho! ¡OVA y DOZU! Trabajar junto con personas puede resultar algo engorroso a veces. ¡Pero sé que siempre me trae un efecto de sinergia trabajar junto con personas con energía positiva!
APOKI, you always are with your backup dancers. Do you have any anecdotes together? What is it like to work with more people?Their names are OVA and DOZU. They really love music like me. Recently while taking shoots for my new MV, there were somewhat difficult stunts scenes while I was driving my car on the set. It was quite fun while filming, but OVA and DOZU had a difficult time getting over car sickness.Wait, this can be funny only for me. I’m so sorry! OVA and DOZU! Working together with people can be somewhat burdensome sometimes. But, I know it always brings me a synergy effect to work together with People with positive energy!
Has probado diferentes géneros desde tu debut ... ¿Qué otros géneros musicales te gustaría probar?
Quiero rapear o cantar una canción de HIP HOP u otras como City Pop o baladas en un futuro cercano. En realidad, quiero cantar todos los géneros musicales favoritos de los terrestres y quiero interpretar todas esas canciones con mi propio estilo "APOKI"!
You’ve tried different genres since debut... What other musical genres would you like to try?I wanna rap or sing a HIPHOP song or others like City Pop or Ballad in the near future. Actually, I want to sing Earthians’ favorite music genres and I want to perform all those songs with my own “APOKI” Style~!
En todos tus videoclips y videos nos muestras un nuevo concepto y un estilo único. ¿Cómo decides esto? ¿Participas en la decisión?
Tomo casi todas las decisiones con mi equipo y crew. Conocen este planeta, también conocido como la Tierra, mejor que yo y sé que hay muchos músicos excelentes en este mundo terrestre. Discutimos mucho para decidir qué concepto tendría para la nueva canción y el nuevo MV. ¡Siempre estoy con mis compañeros de equipo en VV Entertainment! ¡Me respaldan!
In all your MVs and videos you show us a new concept and a unique style. How do you decide this? Do you take part in the decision?I make almost every decision with my team and my crew. They know this planet aka Earth better than me and I know there are many great musicians on Planet Earth. We discussed a lot to decide which concept I would have for new a song and new MV. I’m always with my CREWS at VV entertainment~~! They back me up~!
Gracias a YouTube puedo ver APOKI en YouTube todos los días, realmente me gustan todos tus videos. Pero… ¿Cuál es tu video favorito hasta ahora y por qué?
Es una pregunta un poco difícil. Aún así, si tuviera que elegir solo uno, me gusta más mi segundo single MV <Coming Back>. Me gusta mucho porque me retrata muy hermosa y finalmente salió como lo planeé y pensé.
Thanks to YouTube I can watch APOKI on YouTube every day, I really like all your videos. But… What's your favorite video so far and why?It’s a little bit difficult to answer this question. Still, If I have to pick just one, I like my second single <Coming Back> MV the most. I really like it because it portrays me very lovely and came out as what I planned and thought.

¿Tienes un objetivo en mente como artista? ¿Qué es y por qué?
¡Mi objetivo es ser un músico o cantante que la gente de la Tierra recuerde durante mucho tiempo! Creo que este podría ser el sueño de todos los músicos, no solo el mío.
Do you have a goal in mind as an artist? What is it and why?My goal is to be a musician or a singer remembered by people on Earth for a long time! I believe this might be the dream of all the musicians, not only me.
