oceanfromtheblue es un gran artista que lleva presentando éxitos y mostrando su talento desde 2018, momento en el que debutó con su trabajo Luv-fi 2018. Desde ese momento ha ido lanzando música hasta 2023, momento en el que ha presentado su primer álbum que recibe el nombre de oceanfromtheblue.
El artista nos ha conquistado a todos con sus diversos trabajos, los cuales abarcan diferentes estilos como pop, funk, alternativo, balada... Desarrollando así su propio estilo de música y colándose en todas nuestras playlists.

Para todos aquellos que aún no te conocen y tienen curiosidad: ¿Podrías contarnos la historia detrás de tu nombre profesional oceanfromtheblue?
Cuando hago música, a menudo pienso en colores, principalmente en colores azules. Por eso y porque quiero que mi música sea tan amplia y profunda como el océano, se me ocurrió el nombre “oceanfromtheblue”.
For all those who don't know you yet and are curious: Could you tell us the story behind your professional name oceanfromtheblue?When I make music, I often think of colors, mainly blue colors. That and because I want my music to be as wide and deep as the ocean, I came up with the name ‘oceanfromtheblue’.
¿Cuándo empezaste a interesarte por la música? ¿Qué te inspiró a dar el gran paso?
Disfruté cantando desde que era muy joven. Además de tocar en una banda de la escuela secundaria, continué construyendo mi sueño, lo que me llevó a este día.
When did you start to be interested in music? What inspired you to take the big step?I enjoyed singing since I was very young. Also playing in a middle school band, I continued to build on my dream, leading to this day.
Este mes de julio estarás en BubblePop Festival, siendo tu primera vez en concierto en España. ¿Qué esperas de tu show en el festival? ¿Estás emocionado de conocer a tus fans y disfrutar de este día lleno de música y emociones?
Es la primera vez que visito Barcelona, España, así que estoy muy emocionado. ¡Espero con ansias la diversión que podré tener!
This July you will be at BubblePop Festival, being your first time in concert in Spain. What do you expect from your show at the festival? Are you excited to meet your fans and enjoy this day full of music and emotions?It is my first time visiting Barcelona, Spain, so I’m very excited. I’m looking forward to how much fun I’ll be able to have!
Pero... antes de venir a España será tu cumpleaños. ¡Felicidades! ¿Qué esperas de esta nueva etapa de tu vida a principios de los 30? ¿Qué sueño tienes en mente a nivel personal y profesional?
Estoy planeando una gira y nuevos álbumes, y estoy feliz de que todo vaya muy bien. En lugar de un gran sueño, estoy viviendo un año mejor que el año anterior.
But... before coming to Spain it will be your birthday. Congratulations! What do you expect from this new stage of your life at the beginning of your 30s? What dream do you have in mind personally and professionally?I’m planning a tour and new albums, and I’m happy that all are going very smoothly. Rather than a big dream, I am living for a better year than the year before.
Hace unos meses presentaste tu primer disco completo, que se llama igual que tu nombre profesional, oceanfromtheblue. ¿Puedes contarnos más sobre este álbum? ¿Qué quieres transmitir a través de este trabajo y qué lado podemos escuchar de ti?
Es un disco que habla de mi entorno y de las emociones que he sentido en mi vida.
Como es personal, contiene historias con las que muchas personas pueden relacionarse, ¡así que espero que todos lo escuchen!
A few months ago you presented your first full album, which is called the same as your professional name, oceanfromtheblue. Can you tell us more about this album? What do you want to transmit through this work and which side can we listen to from you?It is an album that talks about my environment and the emotions I’ve felt in my life.As it is personal, it holds stories that many people can relate to, so I hope you all listen to it!
La verdad es que llevas muchos años compartiendo música con nosotros, y colaborando también con grandes artistas. Pero... ¿Qué canción ha marcado más tu carrera? ¿Tendremos la oportunidad de escuchar ese tema en el BubblePop Festival?
Espero tocar canciones que aún no han sido lanzadas. Serán reveladas por primera vez en el BubblePop Festival, así que estoy feliz y emocionado. :)
The truth is that you have been sharing music with us for many years, and also collaborating with great artists. But... What song has marked your career the most? Will we have the chance to hear it at BubblePop Festival?I am hoping to play songs that haven’t been released yet. They will be revealed for the first time in BubblePop Festival, so I’m happy and more excited. :)
¿Hay algo que te inspire a la hora de componer canciones, pensar en tus nuevas obras o conceptos?
Creo que el estado de ánimo en el que estoy mientras compongo canciones es realmente importante. En lugar de hacer planes, tiendo a confiar en oportunidades no intencionales para escribir canciones.
Is there something that inspires you when composing songs, thinking about our works or concepts?I think the mood I’m in while composing songs is really important. Instead of making plans, I tend to rely on unintentional opportunities to write songs.
Ya que tu visita a Barcelona para el BubblePop Festival es inminente... ¿Hay algún lugar que te llame la atención para visitar durante este viaje? ¿Algún alimento que te gustaría probar?
Los lugares famosos son buenos, pero voy a viajar imprudentemente a lugares que me llamen la atención. Cada lugar será nuevo para mí de todos modos. ¡Espero viajar libremente y probar muchas comidas diferentes!
Since your visit to Barcelona for the BubblePop Festival is imminent... Is there a place that catches your attention to visit during this trip? Any food you would like to try?Famous spots are good, but I’m going to recklessly travel to places that attract my attention. Every single place will be new to me anyways. I hope to travel freely and try many different foods!

No tengo mucho talento, ¡pero me gusta hacer ejercicio! También voy a hacer mucho ejercicio en España.
We always ask this question to our interviewees since we love to know curiosities. Do you have any hidden talent? (cooking, sports, instruments…)Not much of a talent, but I enjoy working out! I am going to exercise a lot in Spain, too.
