Los chicos de D.I.P 디아이피 son el único grupo masculino de la compañía Inter BD Entertainment. Seis chicos son los que forman el grupo tras una serie de cambios desde que debutaran en 2016. Comenzó con siete integrantes, y ahora, con seis muestran sus cualidades en el segundo trabajo del grupo. Muchos de ellos participaban el proyecto Lose Control, de la mano de Haeun Entertainament donde los chicos realizarían actuaciones callejeras para darse a conocer.
En BA NA NA hemos hablado con ellos en una entrevista en exclusiva y nos han contado sus objetivos para 2018, sus experiencias tras el debut y sus aspiraciones como grupo. ¡Sigue leyendo para conocer en profundidad a D.I.P!
- ¿De dónde surge la idea del nombre del grupo? ¿Por qué D.I.P?

- ¿De dónde surge la idea del nombre del grupo? ¿Por qué D.I.P?
- Where did the idea of the name of the group come from? Why D.I.P?
B.NISH: DIP Diplomat: proviene del significado de diplomático, utilizando las primeras letras obtenemos DIP. Surge del significado de cada uno de nosotros junto con nuestra propia personalidad, siendo los diplomáticos del k-pop. Dentro de la música mostramos nuestra voz y la voz de los coreanos en cada canción.
SOOMIN: D.I.P tiene el significado de diplomáticos que construimos desde el corazón el nombre de los diplomáticos de todo el mundo del k-pop.
UHYEONG: Significa "Diplomático", que significa en si "funcionario diplomático", con lo que queremos promover el K-pop e intercambiarlo en el extranjero.
JIWON: El nombre de nuestro grupo es D.I.P, que significa diplomático. Significa tener una relación diplomática con K-pop en todo el mundo.
SEUNGHO: Significa diplomáticos, Diplomáticos del kpop.
TAEHA: Diplomat fue creado para que muchos países conozcan K-pop como diplomático.
B.NISH: DIP Diplomat: comes from the meaning of diplomat, using the first letters we get DIP. It arises from the meaning of each of us along with our own personality, being the diplomats of the k-pop. With the music we show our voice and the voice of the Koreans in each song.
SOOMIN: D.I.P has the meaning of diplomats that build from the heart the name of diplomats from all around the world of k-pop.
UHYEONG: It means "diplomat", which means "diplomat official", with what we want to promote K-pop and exchange it abroad.
JIWON: Our group name is D.I.P, which means diplomat. It means having a diplomat relationship with K-pop around the world.
SEUNGHO: It means diplomats, diplomats of kpop.
TAEHA: D.I.P was created so that many countries know K-pop as a diplomat.
- ¿Desde cuándo tenéis interés en la música? ¿Os ha costado mucho conseguir vuestro sueño?
- Since when do you have an interest in music? Has it cost you a lot to get your dream?
B.NISH: Siendo mi padre músico y mi hermano habiendo experimentado la vida de un idol, yo también desde pequeño con la fuerza de las canciones populares de mi padre acabe enamorándome del interés de las letras que trae en si el hip hop. Aunque estuve haciendo rap y bailando durante 5-6 años, solo estuve ensayando durante un año para nuestras canciones. Derrame muchas lágrimas y sudor, pero con el pensamiento de mostrarme sujetando un micrófono me ayudo a superarlo.
SOOMIN: Mi interés por la música empezó en el instituto. Mientras estuvimos unos 5 años de aprendices y también un equipo de desapareció, la empresa también desapareció. Hemos tenido muchos altibajos. Ha sido muy duro.
UHYEONG: Durante la primaria empecé a interesarme en la música y a partir de la secundaria tuve el pensamiento de querer participar en ella. Si no estuviera en la empresa de ahora estaría en otra practicando e incluso estuve ensayando y practicando en mi actual empresa. Durante ese tiempo fue muy duro y cansado.
JIWON: He estado interesado en cantar desde que era un niño. Así que escucho música cada vez que tengo un descanso o tiempo libre, de esta manera casi siempre estoy asociado a ella.
SEUNGHO: Desde pequeño me gustó la música y empecé en la música en el instituto. No fue fácil. Desde la época de aprendiz hasta el debut ensayamos mucho y además teníamos que mostrar una apariencia más profesional.
TAEHA: Desde que era un adolescente tuve mucho interés. Sí, fue muy duro. Tomó muchos giros. ^^
B.NISH: Being my father a musician and my brother having experienced the life of an idol, I also felt in love with the interest of the lyrics that hip hop brings, All this was in childhood with the strength of my father's popular songs. Although I was doing rap and dancing for 5-6 years, I was only practiced for a year for our songs. I shed many tears and sweat, but the idea of showing me holding a microphone helped me overcome it.
SOOMIN: My interest in music began in high school. The hardest thing has been while we were trainees for 5 years and the team disappeared. The company also disappeared. We have had many ups and downs. It has been very hard.
UHYEONG: I started to get interested in music in the elementary school and I had the thought of participate in it in high school. If I wasn’t in the current company I would be in another one practicing. I have even been practicing and practicing in my current company. During that time, it was very hard and tired.
JIWON: I've been interested in singing since I was a child. I listen to music every time I have a rest or free time, this way I'm almost always associated with it.
SEUNGHO: I liked music since I was little and I started music in high school. It wasn’t easy. From trainee to debut we practiced a lot and we also had to show a more professional appearance.
TAEHA: I had a lot of interest in music since I was a teenager. Yes, it was very hard. It took many twists. ^^
- Algunos de vosotros formabais parte de Lose Control, ¿cuál es la diferencia de ese grupo y D.I.P?
- Some of you were part of Lose Control, what is the difference between that group and D.I.P?
B.NISH: Tuve un poco más de tiempo antes de mi debut, pero después comencé a sentirme mucho más emocional y nerviosa como cantante y a concentrarme más en mi comportamiento y práctica.
SOOMIN: La mayor diferencia es el cambio de agencia, y también el cambio de integrantes en el grupo, los cuales cada uno de nosotros tenemos nuestro color y cuando nos juntamos, la armonía es la suma de D.I.P.
UHYEONG: Yo no estaba en Lose Control. Solo he estado en D.I.P
JIWON: Creo que es realmente bueno hacer el debut y tener un talento. Ahora mismo D.I.P está mucho mejor. El trabajo en equipo es bueno y tenemos buena afinidad.
SEUNGHO: Cada miembro tiene muchos más colores que mostrar y D.I.P parece un grupo de amigos.
TAEHA: En vez de dar otras explicaciones quiero decir que estoy trabajando con los mejores miembros posibles.
B.NISH: I had a little more time before my debut, but after that, I began to feel much more emotional and nervous as a singer and to concentrate more on my behavior and practice.
SOOMIN: The biggest difference in the change of agency, and also the change of members in the group, which each of us have our color when we come together, harmony arises in D.I.P.
UHYEONG: I wasn’t in Lose Control. I've only been to D.I.P
JIWON: I think it's really good to make the debut and have a talent. Right now D.I.P is much better. Teamwork is good and we have good affinity.
SEUNGHO: Each member has many more colors to show and D.I.P looks like a group of friends.
TAEHA: Instead of giving other explanations I want to say that I am working with the best possible members.
- Debutasteis con FIZZ y vuestro primer comeback fue A Likely Night, ¿Qué es lo que más os gustó de vuestro tema debut? ¿Cuál es la mejor experiencia de este debut?
- You debuted with FIZZ and your first comeback was A Likely Night, what do you like most about your debut song? What is the best experience?
B.NISH: Bueno, creo que obtuve la 'killing part' durante Fizz antes de que saliera, y me hizo luchar mucho.
SOOMIN: En primer lugar, el pensamiento de debutar fue el más grande y eso fue lo más feliz, tanto la canción como la coreografía o vestuario me gustaron mucho.
UHYEONG: El ritmo emocionante de nuestra canción debut fue muy atractivo.
JIWON: Yo empecé a partir del tercer álbum, y quiero mostrar lo bien que me veo como se esperaba que fuera.
SEUNGHO: Creo que el género fue bueno.
TAEHA: ¡Me gusta el coro adictivo!
B.NISH: Well, I think I got the killing part during Fizz Bang before it was bought, and it made me fight a lot.
SOOMIN: The thought of debuting was the happiest thing. I liked a lot the song, the choreography and wardrobe.
UHYEONG: The exciting rhythm of our debut song was very attractive
JIWON: I started from the third album, and I want to show how well I look like I was expected to be.
SEUNGHO: I think the genre was good
TAEHA: I like the addictive chorus!
- ¿Cómo definiríais vuestro estilo musical y el concepto que lleváis?
- How would you define your musical style and the concept?
B.NISH: Quiero mostrar que somos suaves, astutos y sólidos.
SOOMIN: Nuestro concepto, aunque parece frío exteriormente es una apariencia accesible, linda, familiar y extravagante.
UHYEONG: Que nos vean con buenos ojos nuestro atractivo encanto.
JIWON: Mi concepto es el del brillante dongsaeng que puede hacer reír a sus hyungs.
SEUNGHO: Cualquiera se puede acercar a nosotros cómodamente.
TAEHA: Un hombre antiguo (que está congelado en épocas pasadas)
B.NISH: I want to show that we are soft, clever and solid
SOOMIN: Our concept, although it seems cold externally, is an accessible, beautiful, familiar and extravagant image.
UHYEONG: That they see our attractive charm with good eyes
JIWON: My concept is the brilliant dongsaeng that can make my hyungs laugh.
SEUNGHO: Anyone can approach us comfortably.
TAEHA: An old man (who is frozen in past eras)
- ¿Qué mensaje queréis transmitir a vuestros fans –Class– con vuestra música?
- What message do you want to transmit to your fans -Class- with your music?
B.NISH: Como quiero ser un letrista, quiero escribir letras.
SOOMIN: Quiero hacer música con la que podamos comunicarnos con el público y con todo el mundo.
UHYEONG: Paz Mundial. Me gustaría expresar esa sensación de ser uno con mi música.
JIWON: Si hay alguna persona que está teniendo un momento difícil me gustaría ser un apoyo para ellos.
SEUNGHO: Quiero hacer música que sea cómoda de escuchar.
TAEHA: Lamento decir que todavía soy un novato, pero me gustaría mostrarles todas las atracciones que puedo expresar, no solo una de ellas.
B.NISH: Since I want to be a lyricist, I want to write lyrics
SOOMIN: I want to make music with which we can communicate with the world.
UHYEONG: World peace. I would like to express that feeling of being one with my music
JIWON: If there is someone who is having a difficult time I would like to be a support for them.
SEUNGHO: I want to make music that is comfortable to listen to.
TAEHA: I am sorry to say that I am still a rookie, but I would like to show you all the attractions that I can express, not just one of them.
- Os hemos visto sobre el escenario en Simply K-Pop y The Show, ¿cómo fue la experiencia?
- We have seen you on stage in Simply K-Pop and The Show, how was the experience?
B.NISH: Estaba muy nervioso frente al público en el escenario, pero disfruté de ello como cantante.
SOOMIN: Fue nuestra presentación debut en The Show. Estaba temblando y ya que era un canal de retransmisión fue algo aterrador.
UHYEONG: Fue muy vívido y no puedo olvidar las caras de los miembros antes del comienzo de la presentación.
JIWON: Viendo a otras celebridades fue sorprendente y fue interesante saber que la transmisión se grababa así ya que nunca había estado en una estación de radiodifusión.
SEUNGHO: Antes de subir al escenario del programa en vivo, nos dimos ánimos los unos a los otros.
TAEHA: ¡Por supuesto que me acuerdo de la primera actuación!
B.NISH: I was very nervous in front of the audience on stage, but I enjoyed it as a singer
SOOMIN: It was our debut presentation on The Show and I was shaking and since it was a relay channel it was scary.
UHYEONG: It was very intense and I can’t forget the members’ faces before the beginning of the presentation.
JIWON: Watching other celebrities was amazing and it was interesting to know that the broadcast was recorded like this since I had never been to a broadcasting station.
SEUNGHO: Before going on stage, we encouraged each other
TAEHA: Of course I remember the first performance!

- Acaba de comenzar un nuevo año, ¿Qué podemos esperar de D.I.P en este 2018?

SOOMIN: Los mejores idols de Corea, un nuevo icono D.I.P.
UHYEONG: Me gustaría mantenerles informado constantemente, incluso si no fuera una actuación en solitario.
SEUNGHO: Ofrecer música que se escuche regularmente.
TAEHA: En lugar de establecer metas, creo que, si trabajo duro en todo, tendré más posibilidades, y subiré hacía arriba para siempre hasta que esté satisfecho conmigo mismo.
SOOMIN: The best idols of Korea, a new icon D.I.P.
UHYEONG: I would like to keep you informed constantly, even if it wasn’t a solo performance.
SEUNGHO: Offer music that is usually heard
TAEHA: Instead of setting goals, I believe that, if I work hard on everything, I will have more possibilities, and I will go up forever until I am satisfied with myself.
- ¿Cuál es vuestro mayor objetivo como grupo?
- What is your biggest goal as a group?
B.NISH: Mi objetivo es que se pueda llegar a escuchar mi voz en muchos lugares.
SOOMIN: Quiero llegar a ser una persona del mundo del entretenimiento, tanto en la actuación como en otras actividades.
JIWON: Quiero promover el K-pop alrededor del mundo.
SEUNGHO: Quiero poder mostrar mis propias canciones.
TAEHA: Durar mucho tiempo juntos como D.I.P.
B.NISH: My goal is that you can get to hear my voice in many places
SOOMIN: I want to become a person from the entertainment world, both in acting and in other activities.
JIWON: I want to promote K-pop around the world
SEUNGHO: I want to be able to show my own songs
TAEHA: To last a lot of time together as D.I.P.
- ¿Hay algún género musical que os gustaría hacer en el futuro?
- Is there any musical genre that you would like to do in the future?
B.NISH: En Corea, hice de un sacerdote que rapeaba en el musical Nunsense II. Personalmente quiero mostrar una serie de comedia y mi propio álbum de rap en solitario, es mi deseo personal.
UHYEONG: Si pudiera ver mi música en público, me gustaría hacer música en la que participo y hago solo.
JIWON: Me gustaría realizar presentaciones más y más, y probar en la actuación.
SEUNGHO: Quiero hacer música que sea cómoda de escuchar.
B.NISH: In Korea, I played a priest who rapped in the musical Nunsense II. Personally I want to show a comedy series and my own solo rap album, it's my personal desire.
UHYEONG: If I could see my music in public, I would like to make music that I participate in and do it alone.
JIWON: I would like to make more and more presentations, and try acting.
SEUNGHO: I want to make music that is comfortable to listen to.

- Who are your references in music?
B.NISH: Gary, Jason Derulo y Nelly
SOOMIN: Me gustan mucho HIGHLIGHT y realmente respeto a nuestros sunbaes
UHYEONG: John Legend
JIWON: V de BTS. La razón es porque es muy guapo y además su expresión en el escenario es realmente genial. Quiero llegar a ser un cantante así de genial.

- Habéis sonado en una emisora de radio española, sonando para 12 países, ¿cómo os sentís ante eso?
- You have been heard on a Spanish radio station, playing for 12 countries, how do you feel about that?
B.NISH: Es muy impresionante. El hecho de que nuestras fans escuchen nuestra voz en su país no siendo su idioma hace que me sienta feliz de haberme convertido en cantante.
SOOMIN: Es realmente asombroso y me gustaría poder ir a cualquier sitio para poder mostrarles personalmente a todo el mundo.
UHYEONG: Oh…. Es muy sorprendente y es agradable que mucha gente comparta nuestra música.
JIWON: ¡No me lo puedo creer! Trabajaremos más dura para que nos podáis escuchar en muchos más países.
SEUNGHO: ¡En primer lugar es un honor haber sonado en la radio española! Estoy muy agradecido de que nos apoyen en muchos países.
TAEHA: Estoy muy agradecido y espero que nos puedan recordar mucho más.
B.NISH: It is very impressive. The fact that our fans listen to our voice in their country not being their language makes me happy to have become a singer
SOOMIN: It is really amazing and I would like to go anywhere to be able to show in person our music to everyone.
UHYEONG: Oh ... It is very surprising and it is nice that many people share our music
JIWON: I can’t believe it! We will work harder so that you can hear us in many more countries.

- ¿Os gustaría hacer un concierto en Europa? De ser así, ¿en qué países?
- Would you like to do a concert in Europe? If so, in which countries?
B.NISH: Quiero ir a Inglaterra. A mí me gusta el fútbol, especialmente el Manchester United. Recientemente, el jugador Rooney se transfirió a el equipo de sus inicios y si hubiera fans en Inglaterra me gustaría hacer un concierto y ver algún partido de fútbol.
SOOMIN: España y Brasil es donde más ganas tengo de ir y donde más ganas tengo de actuar.
UHYEONG: Inglaterra. Personalmente quiero visitar el Big Ben.
JIWON: ¡Quiero ir a Inglaterra! Quiero hacer un concierto, viajar y comer cosas ricas allí.
SEUNGHO: Por supuesto que me gustaría hacerlo. Quiero hacerlo en España.
TAEHA: Este trabajo es de ensueño, me gustaría intentar ir a España e Inglaterra.
B.NISH: I want to go to England. I like football, especially Manchester United. Recently, the player Rooney was transferred his initial team and if there were fans in England I would like to do a concert and watch some football game.
SOOMIN: I really want to go to Spain and Brazil and there is where I am most eager to act.
UHYEONG: England. Personally I want to visit Big Ben
JIWON: I want to go to England! I want to do a concert, travel and eat delicious things there.
SEUNGHO: Of course I would like to do it. I want to do it in Spain
TAEHA: This job is like a dream, I would like to go to Spain and England.
