Para celebrar este lanzamiento BA NA NA ha tenido el honor de entrevistar a INTO1 RIKIMARU de forma exclusiva. Hablamos con el artista de su nuevo lanzamiento, de sus inspiraciones o referentes en la música e incluso de su futuro profesional.

En 2021, INTO1 RIKIMARU apareció en el exitoso programa de televisión de Tencent 'CHUANG 2021' en China. Su increíble talento y carisma único hizo que pudiera hacer su gran debut en INTO1, quedando en el tercer puesto de las votaciones de los fans.
Pero no solo lo conocemos por su presencia en el grupo o en programa, y es que INTO1 RIKIMARU es un coreógrafo muy conocido a nivel mundial. Ha sido el encargado de crear bailes para varios artistas populares de K-pop y actuar en vivo junto a ellos, lo que lo convierte en un miembro respetado de la escena del baile.
Ahora INTO1 RIKIMARU de INTO1 nos sorprende con su lado más personal y único a ritmo de su sencillo UP and DOWN; canción en la que nos demuestra que expresa cómo la vida no siempre es perfecta. Y para celebrar este lanzamiento hemos podido entrevistarle en exclusiva para BA NA NA.

¡En BA NA NA estamos muy felices de poderte entrevistar en este lanzamiento en solitario INTO1 INTORIKIMARU! ¡Es todo un honor! Hemos podido ver que has participado en la composición de “UP and DOWN”. ¿Cómo ha sido el proceso creativo? ¿Qué quieres expresar con este trabajo?
INTO1 RIKIMARU: Esta canción es sobre mí mismo, como menciono en la letra, la vida tiene altibajos.
En realidad, hice esta canción con mi productor en marzo del año pasado y lancé un pequeño vídeo de baile de esta canción en mis redes sociales en mayo del año pasado. Entonces, para asegurarme de que la gente no se canse de esta canción hice algunos cambios, espero que podáis disfrutarla.
In BA NA NA we are very happy to be able to interview you on this solo release INTO1 RIKIMARU! It’s such an honor! We can see that you have participated in the composition of “UP and DOWN”. How was the creative process? What did you want to express in this work?INTO1 RIKIMARU: This song is about myself, as I mentioned in the lyrics, life has ups and downs.Actually, I made this song with my producer in March of last year and I released a short dance video of this song on my SNS on May of last year. So,to make sure people won’t get tired of this song,I made some change,hope you can enjoy it.
Ya vimos parte de la coreografía de “UP and DOWN” en el vídeo que publicaste en tu canal de música y ¡está llena de energía! ¿Puedes contarnos cuál es la inspiración para esta coreografía?
INTO1 RIKIMARU: Esta coreografía contiene muchos elementos chinos, como el dragón, la Gran Muralla y kungfu. Hice este baile el año pasado, pero después de verlo una y otra vez no me sentí satisfecho con él, así que lo cambié el día anterior al día de la grabación del vídeo musical. Realmente quiero pedir perdón a mis bailarines porque cambié casi el 70%.
We already saw part of “UP and DOWN”’s choreo in the video you uploaded to your music channel and it’s full of energy! Can you tell us what was the inspiration for this choreography?INTO1 RIKIMARU: This choreography contains lots of Chinese elements, such as Dragon,the Great Wall and Kungfu.I made this dance last year. But after I saw it again and again,I felt not satisfied about it.So I changed it at the day before the music shooting day this time.I really want to say sorry to my back dancers,because I changed almost 70%.
La canción habla sobre los altibajos en la vida, y sabemos que te tomaste un descanso en 2021 por razones de salud. ¿Cómo te sientes al mirar hacia atrás ahora que te has recuperado?
INTO1 RIKIMARU: Ese tiempo me hizo pensar sobre mi vida, no solo en futuro sino también el pasado. Pensé que, si no podía bailar nunca, ¿qué debería hacer? Entonces pensé que tal vez esta es la oportunidad de comenzar a hacer mi propia música, de hacer nacer otra forma de expresarme. Así que, para mí ese descansó no significó un alto, fue una especie de renacimiento, me hizo tener una nueva vida.
The song talks about the ups and downs in life, and we know that you took a break in 2021 for health reasons. How do you feel about it looking back now that you recovered?INTO1 RIKIMARU: That time made me thought about my life not only the future but also the past. I thought about if I couldn’t dance ever, what should I do? Then I thought maybe this is the chance to start making my own music, to born another way to express myself. So, for me, that break doesn’t means stop, that was kind of reborn, made me to have a brand new life.
La canción está completamente en chino, ¿cómo ha sido el camino aprendiendo el idioma?
INTO1 RIKIMARU: No soy bueno aprendiendo con libros de texto. Siempre aprendo más con la vida diaria. Al principio, quería comunicarme más con ellos en chino porque amo a la gente de allí, pero el chino es muy difícil para mí. No sabía si estaba bien o no, así que tenía miedo de hablar. Pero ahora, después de recordar muchas cosas que escuché siento que tengo cada vez más claro de qué está hablando la gente y qué debo decir en ese momento. Puedo hablar más que antes en chino, me siento muy feliz, así que eso hace que quiera aprender más y hablar más.
The full song is in chinese, how has been your journey learning the language?INTO1 RIKIMARU: I am not good at learning with text book. I always learn from the daily life. At the very beginning, I want to communicate more with them in Chinese, because I love the people at there. But Chinese is so difficult to me, I don’t know I am right or not, so I got afraid to speak it. But right now, after I remembered a lot what I heard, I felt I am getting more and more clear about what people are talking about and what should I say at the moment. I can talk more than before in Chinese, I feel so happy, so that makes my wanna to learn more and talk more.
¿Cómo definirías tu música? ¿Hay algún tipo de sonido o estilo que te gustaría probar en el futuro?
INTO1 RIKIMARU: Todavía estoy encontrando mi propio estilo en la música, voy a probar más estilos hasta que descubra cuál es el mío. Pero quiero decir más sobre mi perspectiva sobre este mundo, nuestra sociedad o las dudas a las que nos enfrentamos en mis canciones.
How would you define your music? Is there any kind of sound or style that you would like to try in the future?INTO1 RIKIMARU: I am still finding my own style in music, I am gonna to try more styles until I find out what is mine.But I want to say more about my perspective bout this world,our society,or the question we are facing in my songs.

En 2021 pudimos disfrutar de tus actuaciones a través de Chuang 2021. ¿Cómo dirías que ha crecido el INTO1 RIKIMARU de 2023 en comparación con el INTO1 RIKIMARU de 2021?
INTO1 RIKIMARU: Me gusta la sorpresa así que no quiero decirlo, eso es un secreto. Pero lo que puedo decir es que os mostraré más diferentes RIKUMARUS en el futuro.
In 2021 we were able to enjoy your performances through Chuang 2021. How would you say that the INTO1 RIKIMARU of 2023 has grown compared to the INTO1 RIKIMARU of 2021?INTO1 RIKIMARU: I like surprise,so I don’t wanna to say, that is a secret. But what I can say is that I will show you more different RIKIMARUS in the future.

¿Tienes algún talento oculto o pasatiempo que puedas contarnos? ¿Qué haces en tu tiempo libre para relajarte?
INTO1 RIKIMARU: Masaje. Mi talento oculto es que puedo leer los sentimientos de las personas, y de repente puedo darme cuenta de cambios de las personas, como cuando tienen un nuevo color de pelo o algo así.
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies that you can tell us about? What do you do in your free time to relax?INTO1 RIKIMARU: Massage. My hidden talent is I can read people’s feeling,and I can suddenly realize the people’s change,such as when them got new hair color or something like that.
