Para celebrar su regreso, BA NA NA ha realizado una entrevista exclusiva a NINE.i. El grupo nos ha contado más sobre el comeback, sus sueños y muchas curiosidades sobre ellos.

La empresa FirstOne Entertainment nos presentó a inicios de año a su grupo de chicos NINE.i (나인아이), formado por Eden, Winnie, Jewon, Minjun, Vahn, Vari, Seowon, Taehun, Joohyoung y Jiho. Un grupo muy completo que nos ha dejado ya grandes momentos.
Los chicos de NINE.i hicieron su debut con su primer mini álbum "NEW WORLD". Una presentación increíble con la que nos hicieron bailar con éxitos como Parallel Universe, como tema principal, o BEAUTY iNSIDE como tema secundario. Y ahora, en noviembre, nos acaban de sorprenden lanzando I (Part.1), un segundo mini álbum que llega con el increíble ritmo de Young Boy como tema principal.
Ahora BA NA NA ha tenido la oportunidad de entrevistar a los chicos de NINE.i y conocer más de cerca a estos increíbles rookies, sus sueños, nuevos trabajos y muchas curiosidades. ¡Te lo contamos todo!

Jewon: NINE.i es un grupo especial que fusiona contenidos originales y una visión del mundo en nuestra música combinando tres palabras clave: humanidades, IT e ídolos.
For everyone who doesn't know NINE.i, how would you describe NINE.i? What makes NINE.i unique?Jewon: NINE.i is a special group that melts original contents and worldview into our music with the concept of combining three keywords: humanities, IT, and idols.나인아이를 아직 모르는 사람들에게 나인아이를 어떻게 설명하시겠어요? 나인아이가 특별한 이유가 무엇인가요?제원 : 저희 나인아이는 인문학,IT,아이돌이라는 세가지 키워드를 융합한 컨셉으로 독창적인 콘텐츠와 세계관을 음악에 녹인 특별한 그룹입니다.
NINE.i hace su primer comeback en noviembre con I (Part.1). ¿Qué podemos esperar de este nuevo mini álbum? ¿Qué nuevo lado nos muestra NINE.i?
Eden: Creo que podremos mostrarles una versión mejorada de nosotros mismos desde nuestro álbum debut. Esto es porque la calidad de la música, el rendimiento y todo ha mejorado drásticamente en general. Querrás ver más de nosotros, ¡así que espera con ansias nuestro viaje!
NINE.i made their first comeback in November with I (Part.1). What can we expect from this new mini album? What new side will NINE.i show?Eden: I think we'll be able to show you an upgraded version of ourselves from our debut album. It's because the quality of music, performance, and everything has dramatically improved overall. You will want to see more of us, so please look forward to our journey!나인아이는 11월에 ‘I (Part.1)’ 으로 첫번째 컴백을 할 예정입니다. 이번 앨범에서 대중들이 어떤 기대를 할수 있을까요? 여러분은 어떤 새로운 모습을 보여줄 예정인가요?이든 : 이번에 저희는 데뷔 앨범보다 훨씬 업그레이드 된 모습을 다방면으로 보여드릴 수 있을 것 같습니다. 음악이면 음악, 퍼포먼스면 퍼포먼스, 모두 퀄리티가 올라갔기 때문인데요. 아마 저희 나인아이가 계속 보고싶으실 것 같습니다. 많이 기대해주세요!
Vuestra nueva canción principal es 'Young Boy', ¿qué mensaje queréis transmitir a través de esta canción? ¿Qué es lo que más os gusta de vuestro nuevo tema?
Vahn: Quería transmitir el mensaje de soñar imprudentemente y con valentía como un niño a través de la canción "Young Boy". Quería animar a las personas que se comprometen con la realidad a medida que envejecen y pierden el entusiasmo. La melodía de la canción principal es muy buena, pero creo que la letra está al siguiente nivel.
Your new title track is 'Young Boy', what message do you want to tell through this song? What do you like the most about it?Vahn: I wanted to convey the message of dreaming recklessly and bravely like a child through the song “Young Boy”. I wanted to encourage people who compromise with reality as they get older and lose their eagerness. The melody of the title song is very good, but I think the lyrics are next level.여러분의 타이틀곡 ‘Young Boy’를 통해 어떤 메시지를 전하고 싶으신가요? 타이틀곡의 어떤 점이 가장 좋으신가요?반 : 저는 영보이를 통해 어린아이처럼 무모하고 용감하게 꿈을 꾸자 라는 메시지를 전하고 싶었습니다. 나이가 들어갈수록 현실과 타협하면서 눈빛을 잃는 사람들에게 용기를 불어넣어주고 싶었습니다. 이번 타이틀의 멜로디도 멜로디지만 가사가 저는 가장 마음에 듭니다.
Debutásteis en marzo de 2022, pero antes de eso estuvisteis preparándoos para ello. ¿Cómo fueron vuestros días de aprendiz y todo el proceso de preparación? ¿Cuál es el momento más feliz o el más difícil?
Vari: Durante nuestros días de aprendices hicimos un showcase interno dentro de la compañía para debutar como NINE.i. Fue un proceso agotador, pero también me divertí mucho.
You debuted in March 2022, but before that you were getting ready for that exact moment. How were your trainee days and all the preparation process? What’s the happiest or hardest moment of it?Vari: During our trainee days, we did an internal showcase within the company in order to debut as NINE.i. It was a tiring process, but I also had a lot of fun.여러분은 3월에 데뷔를 하셨고, 그 순간을 예전부터 꿈꿔 왔을 텐데요, 연습생 시절은 어떠셨나요? 연습생 시절 가장 행복했던, 혹은 가장 힘들었던 경험은 무엇이었나요?베리 : 연습생 때 저희가 나인아이의 멤버가 되기 위해서 회사 내부에서 내부 쇼케이스를 한 적이 있다. 그 때가 힘들지만 재미 있었던 기억으로 남아있다.
Pero antes de vuestro debut debe haber un momento en el que decidísteis dedicaros a la música… ¿Cómo descubrísteis que queríais ser artistas y ser idols? ¿Qué artistas os han inspirado?
Minjun: Soñé con convertirme en un ídolo desde que era joven, viendo a otros ídolos actuar en la televisión. Dado que era mi sueño de la infancia, tenía cierta creencia de que podría convertirme en cantante algún día, pero la razón por la que tuve más confianza en mi sueño fue cuando fui al concierto de 2NE1 cuando tenía 16 años. Al verlas actuar supe que también tenía esa energía en mí. Seguí esforzándome y nunca me di por vencido y finalmente me convertí en miembro de NINE.i.
But before your debut there must be a moment when you decided to dedicate yourself to music… How did you discover that you wanted to be an artist and be an idol? What artists have inspired you?Minjun: I dreamt of becoming an idol since I was young, watching other idols perform on television. Since it was my childhood dream, I had a certain belief that I could become a singer one day, but the reason why I became more confident about my dream was when I went to the 2NE1 concert when I was 16 years old. Seeing them perform, I knew I had that energy in me as well. I kept trying hard and never gave up and finally became a NINE.i member.아이돌의 꿈을 어떻게 가지게 되었나요? 혹시 꿈에 힘을 실어준 아이돌 또는 아티스트들이 있었나요?민준: 저는 어릴 때부터 TV에 나오는 선배님들 무대를 보면서 아이돌 가수를 꿈꿨어요. 어릴 때부터 꿈꿔와서 가수가 될 거라고 믿음이 있었지만 더 꿈에 확신을 가진 계기는 16살에 2ne1 선배님의 콘서트를 봤을 때에요. 콘서트 무대를 보고 저도 할 수 있을 거라는 확신이 생겼어요. 계속 포기하지않고 도전하다보니 나인이이가 될 수 있었어요.
En vuestro primer trabajo nos mostrásteis diferentes lados, colores y energías a través de vuestras canciones. Si tuvieras que elegir una de las canciones de NEW WORLD… ¿cuál sería y por qué?
Seowon: Para el primer álbum “New World”, me gustaría elegir “Wasted Youth” como mi favorita. Cuando escucho el coro de esta canción mi corazón se enfría y me da suficiente energía para querer correr hacia un campo abierto. Para elegir una canción de nuestro segundo álbum "I (Part.1)", quiero elegir "I AM", que es una canción de unidad grupal de la que soy parte.
In your first work you show us different sides, colors and energy through your songs. If you have to choose one of the songs from NEW WORLD… what would it be and why?Seowon: For the first album “New World”, I would like to choose “Wasted Youth” as my favorite. When I listen to the chorus of this song, my heart cools down and gives me enough energy to make me want to sprint towards an open field. To pick a song from our second album “I (Part.1)”, I want to choose “I AM” which is a group unit song that I am a part of!첫 번째 앨범에서 여러분은 다양한 매력, 색깔, 그리고 에너지를 음악을 통해 보여주고 있습니다. NEW WORLD 앨범에서 한 곡만 고를수 있다면 어떤 곡을 고르시겠어요? 이유는요?서원 : 저는 첫번째 앨범 new world에서는 저는 waste youth 를 고르고 싶습니다~왜냐하면 이 노래의 코러스를 들으면 왠지 저의 가슴이 시원해지고 앞으로 뛰어나가야 할 것 같은 에너지를 주기 때문입니다~ 그리고 또 최근 저희의 2집앨범 i 에서도 추가로 말하자면 아무래도 제가 참여한 유닛곡인 IAM을 선택하고 싶습니다~!
¿Cómo fue vuestra debut stage? ¿Qué recuerdos tienes de ese día?
Jewon: Cuando recién hice mi debut, había muchas cosas que eran difíciles e inmaduras, como encontrar la cámara adecuada durante la filmación de un video. Todavía recuerdo cuando les di a los miembros del grupo algunos consejos sobre cómo encontrar la cámara adecuada con las lecciones que aprendí a través de mi experiencia.
How was your debut stage? What memories do you have of that day?Jewon: When I just made my debut, there were a lot of things that were difficult and immature, such as finding the right camera during a video shoot. I still remember when I gave the group members some tips on finding the right camera with lessons I learned through my experience.데뷔시절은 어땠나요? 그 시절 어떤 기억들이 있나요?제원 : 데뷔를 막 했을땐 찍고 있는 카메라를 찾는 것부터 시작해서 다양한 것들이 미숙하고 어려운 부분들이 많았습니다. 기억이 나는게 있다면 데뷔 쇼케이스 때 멤버들이 리허설때 카메라 찾는게 어려워서 제 과거 경험을 살려 팁을 줬던 기억이 있습니다.
Desde vuestro debut, vuestras fans, i.ENIN, han estado a vuestro lado siempre mostrándoos mucho amor y apoyo. ¿Cómo es vuestra relación con i.ENIN? ¿Qué significa para vuestros saber que hay tanta gente alrededor del mundo que os apoya y escucha vuestra música?
Taehun: ¡i.ENIN y nosotros somos inseparables porque la razón de nuestra existencia es por nuestros fans! El hecho de que haya mucha gente escuchando nuestra música me motiva a trabajar aún más duro.
Since your debut, your fans, i.ENIN, have been by your side always showing lots of love and support. How is your relationship with i.ENIN? What does it mean for you to know that there are so many people around the world who support you and listen to your music?Taehun: i.ENIN and we are inseparable because the reason for our existence is because of our fans! The fact that there are a lot of people listening to our music motivates me to work even harder.데뷔시절부터 여러분의 팬덤 i.ENIN은 꾸준한 응원을 여러분께 보내고 있습니다. i.ENIN들과 여러분의 관계는 어떤가요? 전 세계에 여러분을 지지하고 여러분의 음악을 듣는 사람들이 많다는 사실은 여러분에게 어떤 의미로 다가오나요?태훈 : 아이닌과 우리는 뗄레야 뗄 수 없는 사이라고 말을 하고싶습니다 왜냐하면 아이닌이 있기때문에 우리 나인아이가 존재할 수 있다고 생각이 들기 때문입니다!음악을 듣는 사람들이 많다는 사실은 사실 더욱 열심히 해야겠다는 동기부여가 되는 것 같습니다
Siempre hacemos esta pregunta a nuestros entrevistados ya que nos encanta conocer detalles curiosos. ¿Tienes algún talento oculto? (Cocina, deportes, tocar instrumentos…)
Eden: Puedo hacer una imitación de Pingu y hacer el efecto de sonido de decepcionante.
Vahn: ¡Soy, sorprendentemente, un cocinero decente! Me da flojera cocinar todos los días, ¡pero cocinaré para i.ENIN si me lo piden!
Jiho: ¡Mi talento oculto es que puedo imitar a Doraemon! No soy tan bueno en eso, ¡así que por favor tratadme bien si lo hago!
We always ask this question to our interviewees since we love to know curious details. Do you have any hidden talent? (Cooking, sports, playing instruments…)Eden: I can do an impression of Pingu, and make a disappointing sound effect.Vahn: I’m surprisingly a decent cook! I'm too lazy to cook everyday, but I will cook for the i.ENIN if they ask me to!Jiho: My hidden talent is that I can do an impression of Doraemon! I’m not so good at it, so please go easy on me!저희가 인터뷰를 할때면 항상 묻는 질문이 있습니다. 여러분은 혹시 숨겨진 장기가 있으신가요? ¿Qué podemos esperar de NINE.i en el futuro? ¿Podremos disfrutar muy pronto de nueva música o de nuevos proyectos?
Joohyoung: Podréis ver nuestras actuaciones para la canción principal “Young Boy” en muchos canales de música, y estamos planeando mostraros mucho contenido sobre nosotros, ¡así que esperadlo con ansias!
What can we expect from NINE.i in the future? Will we be able to enjoy new music or new projects very soon?Joohyoung: You will be able to see our performances for the title song “Young Boy” on many music channels, and we are planning to show you a lot of content about us, so please look forward to it!NINE.i의 앞으로의 활동에서 저희가 어떤 모습을 기대할수 있을까요? 곧 새로운 음악이나 프로젝트가 나올 예정인가요?주형 : 우선 저희의 타이틀곡 young boy 무대를 여러 음악 방송에서 만나보실 수 있을 것 같고요, 또 음악방송을 제외하고도 여러 다양한 콘텐츠로 아이닌분들을 찾아뵐예정이니 많은 기대 부탁드립니다!
¿Tenéis algún objetivo en mente como artista y grupo?
Jewon: En primer lugar, creo que nuestro grupo tiene una excelente musicalidad por lo que mi objetivo es ganar una gran popularidad musical como ídolo masculino representativo de la cuarta generación.
Minjun: Mi meta y sueño como grupo es actuar en Coachella. Creo que NINE.i, un grupo de varios miembros, podrá mostrarle a la gente una actuación diferente y única en Coachella.
Vahn: Como artista, espero que mis canciones duren mucho tiempo. Mi objetivo es hacer música duradera que permanezca en la cabeza de las personas durante mucho tiempo.
Seowon: Como grupo, quiero que nuestro fandom crezca para que podamos actuar en el Gocheok Sky Dome frente a una multitud. Personalmente, como artista, ¡mi objetivo es convertirme en embajador de Dior!
Do you have any goal in mind as an artist and group?Jewon: First of all, I think our group has excellent musicality, so my goal is to gain great musical popularity as a representative male idol of the 4th generation.Minjun: My goal and dream as a group is to perform at Coachella. I think NINE.i, a multi-member group, will be able to show people a different and unique performance at Coachella.Vahn: As an artist, I hope my songs will last for a long time. It is my goal to make lasting music that stays in people’s head for a very long time.Seowon: As a group, I want our fandom to grow so that we can perform at Gocheok Sky Dome in front of a full crowd. Personally as an artist, my goal is to become an ambassador for Dior!
아티스트와 그룹으로서 새운 목표가 있나요?제원 : 우선 저희 그룹이 음악성이 뛰어나다고 생각하기 때문에 4세대 대표 남자 아이돌로서 음악적 대중성을 크게 얻는게 목표입니다.민준: 그룹으로 저의 목표는 코첼라에 나가는 것이 목표이고 꿈이에요. 다인원 그룹인 저희 나인아이가 코첼라 무대에 선다면 색다른 무대를 보여드릴 수 있을 거 같아요.반 : . 저는 아티스트로서 제 음악이 길게 남았으면 좋겠습니다. 사람들의 기억에서 제 음악이 잊혀지지 않고 오래 남는 것이 제 목표입니다.서원 : 저는 이제 그룹으로써는 나인아이의 팬덤이 커져서 고척돔에서 관객이 꽉찬 무대에서 콘서트를 해보는 것이 가장 큰 목표이고 저의 개인 아티스트로서의 목표는 디올 엠버서더가 되는 것이 저의 큰 목표입니다!
