MONT 몬트 lo tiene todo listo para su debut tras su aparición en el programa MIXNINE (믹스나인), de YG Entertainment y la cadena jTBC. Después de haber ganado bastante atención a través del survival show, Narachan 나라찬, Roda 로다 y Bitsaeon 빛새온, ultiman los detalles para su debut oficial dentro de FM Entertainment.

Tras un single pre debut y una colaboración con Taru de dos de sus integrantes, MONT comienza el camino hacia su debut tras el éxito del programa MIXNINE, donde llamaron la atención de muchas personas, que se convertían en MINT –su fandom– al instante.

¿Cuál es el significado de vuestro nombre? ¿Por qué MONT?
Nos llamamos “MONT”, que significa “Member Of the National Team”, es decir, los representantes nacionales del K-Pop.
What is the meaning of your name as band? Why MONT?
We are called 'MONT' and it means to be the national representative of 'K POP'. It means “Member Of the National Team”.
Todos vosotros utilizáis nombres artísticos, ¿qué significan? ¿Por qué Narachan, Roda y Bitseon?
NARACHAN: Narachan significa una persona con corazón puro
RODA: Roda es el niño que espera
BITSAEON: Bitseon significa algo nuevo y con gran luz
You all use stage names, what do they mean? Why Narachan, Roda and Bitsaeon?
NARACHAN: A person with a true heart

¿Cómo definiríais vuestro estilo? ¿Qué mensaje queréis transmitir con él a vuestros fans?
NARACHAN: Somos un grupo con una atmósfera cálida y cercana. Somos idols, pero tenemos un estilo familiar y no tanto un concepto misterioso y cool. Queremos hacer disfrutar de ese estilo en el escenario.
BITSAEON: Creo que somos un grupo que no está encasillado en un solo estilo. Free style!
How would you define your style and what message do you want to send to your fans?
NARACHAN: We are a group of close and warm atmosphere. We are idols, but it seems to be familiar style rather than cool and mysterious. We would like fans to enjoy it with us on the stage.
BITSAEON: I think we are a team that is not locked in a frame. Free style!
¿Desde cuándo tenéis interés en la música? ¿Cuál ha sido el mejor y el peor momento durante este largo camino?
BITSAEON: Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que comencé a sentir interés en la música, desde que estaba en la escuela primaria.
RODA: Empecé a interesarme por la música en el instituto, en el primer curso de Bachillerato.
NARACHAN: Yo también empecé a sentir interés por la música en el instituto. Y respecto a cuál ha sido el mejor y el peor momento en este camino… Um… Más que un mal momento, ha habido momentos difíciles. Actualmente en MONT somos tres integrantes, pero al principio estaba yo solo. Que fueran entrando uno a uno fue bueno, pero durante ese tiempo fue algo difícil. El proceso de estar practicando solo fue el más difícil y solitario. Lo bueno es que ahora estamos todos juntos y que tenemos una entrevista para España y hay MINT en España a los que les gustamos.
Since when are you interested in music? What was the best moment and the bad moment during this long way?
BITSAEON: It's been a long time since I started to feel interested in music, since elementary school.
RODA: I started to get interested in middle school.
NARACHAN: I started to get interested in middle school. And next question ‘What was the best moment and the bad moment during this long way?’ Um.. It seems to be a difficult moment rather than a bad moment. The current 'MONT' is three, but since the beginning I was alone. That they were entering one by one was good, but during that time it was difficult. The process of practicing alone was the most difficult and lonely. ¿Qué podemos esperar de MONT en 2018? ¿Podemos decir que 2018 va a ser vuestro año?
NARACHAN: ¡¡Por supuesto!! Para ser honestos, 2018 parece que va a ser nuestro año. Si hemos podido hacer esta entrevista para España... ¿No quiere decir eso que tenemos la oportunidad de ir a España? Yo creo que si tenemos la oportunidad de ir a España, 2018 será nuestro año.
What can we expect from MONT for 2018? Can we say that 2018 is going to be your year?
NARACHAN: Of course!! To be honest, 2018 seems to be our year. If we could do this interview for Spain ... Doesn't that mean we have the opportunity to go to Spain? I believe that if we have the opportunity to go to Spain, 2018 will be our year.
Os hemos escuchado vuestro single “Sorry” y también en el tema "너를 생각 하나봐" de Taru. ¿Este es el estilo que queréis mostrar como grupo?
NARACHAN: Nos gusta este tipo de música, pero como nos gusta bromear y reírnos queremos hacer canciones más divertidas y alegres. Además, queremos mostrar varios estilos de canciones. ¡Esperadnos con muchas ganas!

NARACHAN: We like this style of music, but as we like to joke and laugh we want to make more fun and cheerful songs And we want to show more styles of songs. Please look forward to!
Hemos visto a MONT participar en MIXNINE, un programa muy popular. ¿Cómo os sentís tras el programa? ¿Habéis sentido más interés en vuestras carreras?
BITSAEON: Para mí fue muy corto, pero va ser un muy buen recuerdo.
RODA: Ha sido una gran experiencia.
NARACHAN: Fue una pena irse pronto. Ha sido divertido, y una gran experiencia. También hemos hecho muy buenos amigos. Después de MIXNINE todos tenemos la misma idea, queremos practicar más duro para mostraros una mejor visión de nosotros. Somos tres, pero en MIXNINE estuvimos en diferentes equipos y ahora queremos mostrarnos como MONT. Por favor, ¡esperadlo!
MONT had been on MIXNINE, a very popular show. How do you feel after this show? Do you see more attention on your careers?
BITSAEON: For me it was very short, but it will be a very good memory..
RODA: It seems to have been a good experience for me.

MONT left us always impressed with your attitude, your effort and your big smile. What do you think that is the most charismatic thing that your group has?
NARACHAN: Thank you so much for being impressed with us.

Ahora mismo, MONT está llevando a cabo un proyecto MAKESTAR de Crowdfunding que ya ha superado su objetivo, pero que está abierto hasta Abril. ¿Cómo os sentís al ver que hay tantos fans internacionales que apoyan este proyecto? ¿Qué significa para vosotros y vuestra compañía lograr este crowdfunding?
NARACHAN: De hecho, conseguimos alcanzar nuestro objetivo tan solo una semana después de comenzar con el proyecto de MAKESTAR. Nos impresionó mucho, porque no sabíamos que tuviéramos el apoyo de tanta gente. Fue increíble. Muchas gracias por prestarnos tanta atención y expectación. Nuestra compañía también se sorprendió por los resultados, con este impulso quieren mostrar a un MONT más fuerte. Así que de cara al futuro, intentaremos superar vuestras expectativas.
Right now, MONT is doing a MAKESTAR proyect of crowdfunding that already surprise the goal, but it's open till April. How do you feel when you see the international support on this project? What it means for you and your company to achieve this crowfunding?
NARACHAN: In fact, we achieved our goal in a week after we started the 'makestar' project. We were so surprised because we didn’t know that we were interested and expecting so many people. It was amazing. Thank you so much for giving us much attention and expectation. Our company was also very surprised by the results, with this impulse they want to show a stronger MONT. So in the future, we will try harder with your expectations.
Hemos conocido a tres de los integrantes de MONT, pero sois cinco. ¿Cuándo vamos a poder disfrutar de vuestro debut y conocer al resto de los miembros?
NARACHAN: Vaya... Recordáis lo que dije. Realmente no lo sabemos. No es que sea un secreto, pero ni siquiera nosotros lo sabemos. MONT puede debutar con tres integrantes. Podéis esperar para conocer a los cinco integrantes, pero si finalmente MONT debuta como un grupo de tres personas, por favor, apoyadnos mucho igual.
BITSAEON: Nuestro MONT de tres integrantes debutará en 2018.
We have met three of the members of MONT, but you are five. When will we be able to enjoy your debut and get to know the rest of the members?

¿Hay algún tipo de música o concepto que queráis hacer en el futuro?
BITSAEON: Me gustaría hacer música con la que comunicarme con mucha gente. Es mi objetivo en un futuro, poder hacer música para comunicarnos con nuestros fans de todo el mundo, no solo de Corea.
RODA: A mí me gustaría hacer música con la que mucha gente pueda simpatizar.
NARACHAN: Me gustaría hacer música emocionante y curativa, y cuando hagamos conciertos, que podamos disfrutarla con vosotros.
Is there any kind of music or concept that you want to make in the future?
BITSAEON: I want to make music with which I can communicate with many people. It is my future plan, to make music with which I can communicate with many fans from all over the world, not only from our country.
RODA: I want to make music that everyone can sympathize with.
NARACHAN: I want to make exciting and healing music. So when we do a concert, we can enjoy a lot with you, right?
Hay MINT por todas partes del mundo que apoyan vuestra música, ¿cómo sienta eso?
NARACHAN: MINT es la fuerza que nos impulsa a seguir adelante y hacer música. Gracias al hecho de que tantos fans a nivel internacional nos han apoyado, hemos sido capaces de participar en MIXNINE, y también de hacer entrevistas como estas. Estamos muy agradecidos a MINT.
A lot of international MINT support your music, How does it feel?

¿Os gustaría hacer un concierto en Europa? ¿En qué países?
NARACHAN: ¡España! Queremos ir a muchos países, pero yo quiero ir a España, porque ha sido el primer país en contactar con nosotros.
