El pasado 17 de agosto del 2022 la artista Sunmi se presentó en Madrid con su primer concierto en la capital, un evento único que llenó de éxitos el Palacio Vistalegre gracias a la promotora de eventos y fiestas KEvents.
BA NA NA tuvo el honor de poder reunirse con Sunmi antes de subirse al escenario para hacer una entrevista. En el que pudimos hablar de sus deseos de hacer una tercera gira mundial, de su amor por los fans y de su emoción de presentarse en España.

El concierto de Sunmi en España el pasado 17 de agosto fue un evento increíble, sus Miya-ne cantaron a todo pulmón sus grandes éxitos; entre los que se encontraba Gashina, You Can't Sit With Us, LALALAY o Heart Burn.
La artista estuvo espléndida en todo momento, logrando cautivar a todos los espectadores; los cuales no pudieron parar de gritar y cantar junto a Sunmi. Sin duda alguna, un evento que siempre recordaremos y que llegó a nosotros gracias a su segunda gira mundial GOOD GIRL GONE MAD.
Pero, antes de que este concierto empezara, BA NA NA pudo reunirse con Sunmi para hacerle una entrevista. En la que pudimos hablar de sus planes de futuro o el amor que siente hacia todos sus fans.

Lo primero de todo. Es un placer tenerte aquí en España y poder entrevistarte en un momento tan brillante de tu carrera. ¿Cómo te sientes actualmente a nivel profesional con la gira, el comeback y todas las demás actividades que estás haciendo?
Esta es la primera vez que vengo a España, y ya sabía y había escuchado que tenía muchos fans en España, por lo que me siento muy feliz de haber venido. Estoy realmente agradecida de que haya tanto interés con este segundo tour mundial, y espero tener la oportunidad de volver a ver otra vez a los fans de España en el futuro. Ya que hoy estoy muy nerviosa y tengo muchas expectativas por el concierto.
First of all. It's a pleasure to have you here in Spain and to be able to interview you at such a brilliant moment in your career. How do you currently feel professionally with the tour, the comeback and all the other activities you are doing?It's the first time I come to Spain, and I had heard before that I had a lot of fans here so I am really happy to have the chance to come to this country. I'm really grateful for all the interest I'm receiving with this second world tour and I hope to have the chance to come back again and see the spanish fans once again in the future. Today I'm a bit nervous because I have a lot of expectations for the show.
Esta es tu segunda en Europa, pero la primera fue en 2019 y la cantidad de Miya-nes ha ido en aumento. ¿Qué diferencias crees que hay entre la Sunmi de ese tour y la Sunmi actual?
Antes de nada, creo que la artista Sunmi ha conseguido más repertorio de música ahora... por lo que he podido crear nuevos lados de mi misma para mostrar al público. Además mis Miya-ne podrán notar lo completa que soy como artista ahora, y mis nuevas características.
This is your second tour in Europe, but the first one was in 2019 and the amount of Miya-nes has been increasing. What differences do you think there are between the Sunmi of that tour and the current Sunmi?Before anything, I think Sunmi, as an artist, has a lot more songs to show now, so I've been able to create new sides of myself to show to the public. Plus my Miya-ne can feel how complete I am as an artist now with my new characteristics.
A pesar de ser tu segunda vez en Europa, es tu primera vez en España. ¿Qué esperas del público español? ¿Has preparado algo especial para el show de Madrid?
He preparado estos accesorios españoles para el pelo (se señala sus tocados) que he comprado especialmente en una tienda española. Y... cuando pienso en España pienso en gente con mucha energía y con muchas ganas, por lo que creo que los fans españoles van genial con el tipo de concierto y música que hago.
Despite being your second time in Europe, it is your first time in Spain. What do you expect from the Spanish audience? Have you prepared something special for the Madrid show?I've prepared these spanish hair pieces for the hair (pointing at the flowers) that I've specifically bought in a spanish store. When I think about Spain... I think about people with a lot of energy and spirit, so I think spanish fans are a great match for the music I make.
Tu tour mundial “GOOD GIRL GONE MAD” comienza en Europa, y luego viajas a Estados Unidos y finaliza en Corea en octubre. ¡No paras! ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de viajar actuando con tu música?
Lo que más me gusta, principalmente, es escuchar a los fans que están en el concierto conmigo. La verdad es que no me gusta mucho viajar, y cuando estoy de gira no suelo tener mucha oportunidad de ver los sitios ya que suelo descansar, pero en Madrid he podido ir a ver la fuente de Neptuno. ¡Y me ha parecido precioso!
Your world tour "GOOD GIRL GONE MAD" starts in Europe, and then you travel to the U.S. and end in Korea in October. You don't stop! What do you like the most about traveling and performing with your music?What I like the most, specifically, is to listen to the fans that are at the venue with me during the show. I don't really like travelling and when I'm on tour I don't have the chance to see the places since I rest most of the time, but in Madrid I've been able to see the Neptuno Fountain and I thought it was beautiful!
Vuelves a los escenarios internacionales tras la pandemia y lo haces por todo lo alto con esta gira. ¿Cómo han sido para ti estos años lejos de tus fans físicamente? ¿Cómo lo has vivido?
He estado durante 3 años haciendo conciertos donde no había público, y lo que he notado durante este tiempo es la importancia de pasar tiempo con los fans y de ese momento que estoy junto a ellos. Por lo que ahora, tras estos 3 años, es cuando realmente estoy notando que vuelvo a los escenarios.
You're coming back to the international stages after the pandemic and you're doing it in style with this tour. What have these years away from your fans been like for you physically? How have you experienced it?I've been performing for empty venues during these past three years so I realized how important it is to spend time with fans and cherish the moment when I'm with them. After these three years, now is when it truly feels like I'm back on stage
Tu historia y trayectoria son increíbles, pero… ¿hay algún objetivo o sueño que esté pendiente de alcanzar? ¿Cuál te gustaría cumplir antes de finalizar 2022?
Ahora mismo no tengo muchos planes, y quiero terminar bien el tour mundial que estoy haciendo actualmente. Por eso no tengo muchos planes, pero lo más seguro es que estaré componiendo nuevas canciones y preparándome para un tercer tour mundial.
Your history and trajectory are incredible, but... are there any goals or dreams you have yet to achieve? Which one would you like to accomplish before the end of 2022?Right now I don't have any future plans, I wanna finish the tour well. That's why I don't have any special plans, most likely I will compose new songs or get ready for another world tour.
¿Puedes dedicarles unas palabras a Miya-ne que ha venido a verte hoy?
¡¡¡Hola!!! Hay una parte de mi canción en la que digo "올라 올라 라라라 요" y eso en español es como decir "Hola". Por lo que tengo muchas ganas, y mucha expectación, de poder cantarla y ver la emoción de los fans españoles con esta. ¡Vamos!
Can you say a few words to Miya-ne who came to see you today?
¡Hola! There's a part in my song where I say 올라 올라 라라라 요 which sounds like "Hola" in Spanish. I'm really excited about it, to be able to sing it and see the energy of the spanish fans with this song. ¡Vamos!
