Valen Crew (발렌크루) es una crew de hiphop coreana que se mueve por la escena underground de Seúl. Constan de cuatro miembros: BNa, Seyeon, D-9INE y MTP. Valen significa en alemán "Olas" además, la crew fue formada en San Valentín.
Valen means "waves" in german and also we became a crew in San Valentin's day.
¿Cuánto tiempo lleváis juntos como crew? ¿Habéis sido siempre cuatro miembros o hubo otros miembros antes?
How long have you beed together as a crew? Has it always been only you four or did you have more members before?
Originalmente éramos dos personas BNa y Seyeon, luego llegó D-9INE y por último MTP, que lleva con nosotros sólo seis meses.
We started as a two members (BNa and Seyeon) and then came D-9INE and finally MTP who's only been with us for six month.

Como artistas underground, ¿Cómo de dificil es para vosotros conseguir reconocimiento por lo que hacéis? ¿Qué es lo que hacéis para conseguir más fama en la escena de hiphop?
As an underground artist, how hard is it for you guys to get your name out there and get recognition for what you do? What do you do to try and get more fame in the hiphop scene?
Ponemos muchas tareas para las diferentes personas de Valen Crew, de este modo nosotros hacemos muchas cosas para que la gente nos reconozca.
We have different tasks for each member that's why we do different things so that people can know about Valen Crew.
Sabemos que BNa y D-9INE fueron a Show Me The Money. ¿Cómo fue la experiencia? ¿Sienten que necesitáis mejorar y trabajar más? ¿Estáis planeando volver el año que viene al programa?
We know BNa and D-9INE went to ‘Show Me The Money’. How was the experience? Did you feel like you needed to get better and work hard? Are you planning on going to ‘Show Me The Money’ again?
En realidad fuimos BNa, D-9INE y MTP a Show Me The Money, y hay que hacer muchas cosas para continuar en el programa. Y, para el año que viene, volveremos a intentarlo los tres.
Actually, we three (BNa, D-9INE and MTP) went to Show Me The Money and you have to do a lot of things to keep going on the show. The three of us will try again next year.
¿Creéis que habéis ganado más fans después de ir a Show Me The Money?
Also, did you feel like you gained more fans after you went to ‘Show Me The Money’?
No había mucha gente que nos reconociera por el programa, ya que no salimos tanto en edición. Pero gracias al diss battle (donde participaban BNa y D-9INE, el cual se emitió) el primer día de audiciones si que han ganado algo de fama por ello.
There wasn't many people that knew about us because of the show because we don't appear that much on camera, But thanks to the diss battle (where BNa and D-9INE performed) on the first day of auditions we've got a bit of popularity.
¿Hay otras hiphop crews que escucháis o que seguís su carrera?
Are there some other hiphop crews that you like to listen to? Is there a hiphop crew that you look up to?
No tenemos una crew favorita que esté a nuestro nivel. Pero individualmente nos gusta bastante AOMG, Simon Dominic, Beenzino, Gdragon, Swings...
We don't have a crew favorite on our level but each of us have their own taste: AOMG, Simon Dominic, Beenzino, Gdragon, Swings...
Seyeon, te hemos escuchado cantar y suenas realmente bien. ¿Hay alguna artista a la que sigues o admiras por sus voces?
Soyeon, we’ve heard you singing and it sounds really good, is there any artist you look up to in terms of voice strength? Any artists you admire a lot when it comes to their voices?
Me gusta mucho Jessie J, y Beyoncé.

¿Vas a hacer alguna cover nueva en el futuro?
Are you going to do a new cover in the future?
Vamos a sacar un album donde vamos a colaborar entre nosotros, entonces tendrá canción.
We will release an album on which we will colaborate between us so I will release a song then.
Y, MTP, no has sacado canciones nuevas desde hace mucho... ¿Estás trabajando en algo nuevo o planeas sacar pronto alguna canción?
Also, MTP, you haven’t dropped a song for a while… Are you working on something right now or do you have any plans on releasing a new song soon?
No estoy cantando, estoy pensando y trabajando en las canciones. A finales de año creo que va a poder salir un album a final de año, aunque no es seguro.
I am not rapping at the moment, I'm thinking and working on the songs. By the end of the year I hope to be able to release an album but I'm not sure about it.
Valen Crew tiene vídeos subidos a YouTube y muchos de ellos superan las 2000 visitas. ¿Cómo os sentís cuando veis esa cantidad de visualizaciones?
In general Valen Crew has some videos uploaded on youtube and some of them are over the 2000 views. How do you feel when you see that your videos have such amount of views?
Siempre hay muchos fans, y haters también. Pero nosotros estamos haciendo lo que nos gusta, y por muchos haters que hayan no les hacemos caso.
There is always a lot of fans and a lot of haters. But we're doing what we love so we don't actually pay much attention to the haters.
¿Creéis que Valen Crew tiene algo diferente al resto de crews? En ese caso, ¿De qué se trata?
Do you think you have something that makes Valen Crew different from other crews? If that’s the case, what is it?
Hmh... Somos más guapos que otros crews... jaja. No tenemos un carácter que se adapte a lo que se espera de un hiphop crew... Cada uno tiene su estilo diferente.
Hmh... We're more handsome than other crews... haha. We don't have a defined character so we don't really fit in the prototype of a underground hiphop crew. Each of us has a different style.
Seguramente que muchos de nuestros seguidores no han oído hablar de vosotros. Si tuvierais que recomendar alguna de vuestras canciones a ellos, ¿Cuál sería?
